Terms and Conditions

Your statutory rights

Here’s a brief outline of your statutory rights plus a reassurance that none of our terms and conditions in anyway conflict or diminish your statutory rights. Your rights are outlined in the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 and the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) (Amendment) Regulations 2005.

If you want to fully review your statutory rights, the trading standards website (http://www.tradingstandards.gov.uk/index.cfm) is very good and helpfully explains everything in plain English.

Your right to cancel, or the ‘cooling off’ period

The Distance Selling Regulations give you the right to change your mind and cancel an order within seven working days. If you do decide to cancel, you should put this in writing.

The time limits for cancelling an order are:

Goods: 7 working days after the day on which the goods are received;

You must take care of goods whilst they are in your possession and, if you are returning them, you should take reasonable care to ensure that they are safely returned and that they are not damaged in transit. If the goods are faulty, damaged or incorrect we will refund you the amount paid in full including postage plus the return postage. If you are simply cancelling the order, we will refund the amount paid in full excluding postage.

If you decide to return the goods within these time limits, you are entitled to expect your money to be refunded within 28 days.

Protection for credit cards

You should notify your card issuer as soon as possible after you discover this fraudulent use, or if your card has been stolen.
